I just could not get into this book. The beginning started off nicely, and then all of these other (somewhat unlikable) characters kept showing up and I no longer really knew what (or who) I was reading about. I was so confused after nine chapters that I just gave up. This book is probably well suited for people who like a lot of drama and who enjoy reading about the exaggerated lives of the wealthy. I really wish that the book had focused more on the relationships between the mother, daughter, and ex-husband. That is what first got me hooked on the book and interested in reading it. However, if you prefer something a little busier and love gossip and scandals, this might be a great read for you.
