Great summer read
Though it took me a little while for this book to suck me in, once it did, I was hooked and couldn't put it down.
The summer in the Hamptons setting was perfect for reading and relaxing on the beach.
In the beginning, a TON of characters are introduced. It seemed like just when I thought I got them all down, a new one would pop it. Usually that alone would deter me from finishing, but I'm glad I stuck this one out.
The whole "art scene" represented in the book was also quite interesting and not too confusing giving I hadn't had much prior knowledge.
In the end, what I took from this novel was the strength Ruthie had to go after the things she wanted in life and not give up, no matter how many challenges she faced
