I was fortunate enough to receive an advanced copy of this book from the publisher. I received the book in a nicely packaged box and was impressed with the quality of the hardback cover when I received it. However, I did not read the book immediately. I ended up saving the book for my vacation to the beach. Also, the idea of a summer themed book on the beach seemed like it needed to be saved.
When I started reading it on vacation I found it to be an easy read. The book was filled with what you would expect of a summer on the beach story. The book while being interesting and having a good story line, was not one that I would say held a lot of suspense. I like for books to be like roller coasters with twists and turns at every corner. Even though this book was not this way, I still really enjoyed it and found it to be a change of pace book for me. I would highly recommend this book if you are looking for something to read while lounging pool side or at the beach.
