This was a decent read. Good "chick lit" book what I expected from the description. It wasn't anything earth shattering, but I didn't go into it thinking it would be a life changing novel. The characters were generally relatable, the plot line was as expected. This is a hard book to review, because I don't really have anything I can "gush" about. If you're looking for a novel that won't leave your psyche, and makes you think about it long after you've finished it, this isn't the book for you. But if you want a fun, unencumbered "beach read" to occupy your life for a few days, this will serve you well. Bottom line, this was a good summer read that does what it should - allow you to escape for however long it takes to finish. Enjoy it for what it is.
