If the book holds up to the promise of the first two chapters in this excerpt, then the Nancy Thayers and Elin Hilderbrands of summer publishing better watch out, because Judy Blundell is hot on their heels with this story. The characters seem interesting, and while not much plot has been established yet, I think it has great potential. The setting also seems to have the right hint of summer luxury (without being another Nantucket story).
