I liked the cover of this book, that was the first thing that drew me in. It looked different and inviting and just something cozy that you'd want to read by the beach or curled up with a blanket by the fireplace. It does sound a little bit cliché, but also interesting, which is what drew my attention. The idea that in order to afford this awesome house, Ruthie has to give it up part of the year kind of sucks and I'd love to know how she and her family deal with that. I think it would be an intriguing read, maybe one that would surprise me.
