The opening and descriptive setting of The High Season immediately drew me in and made me crave warmer weather and the beach.
I am looking forward to seeing the development of the family throughout this summer because I feel like, despite the "divorce," they still all want things to work out. If not, and Ruthie and Jem make their own way- more power to them and that would be a great read as well. I'm looking forward to reading this one!
