In an intriguing story of a typical middle class family and their daily foilbes and daily grinds ignites a passion to read their story. Ruthie the heroine of this book is set against a backdrop of having to make ends meet and has only one item to keep herself and her family well funded albeit for a short time. On top of that she has a teenage daughter Jem who is trying to grow up too fast, and her Ex Mike who shares ownership of the beach house to contend with. On the other side of the coin you have the rich summer renters who from all outward appearances are leading perfect lives. This delicious romp has whetted my appettite and left me wanting more. Even if I don't win it I will buy it, that's how impressed I am with this
