Living in a decidedly land-locked state, I always enjoy books that can capture the unique communities that build up around beaches. Especially the changing nature of the groups as tourism seasons ebb and flow. The family drama in this story was particularly interesting, and it seems like the perfect book for an upcoming vacation!
