The author starts with a beautiful setting of a house in a Long Island town by the sea. Just in this small sample of the book we see the struggles Ruthie deals with daily. Her "ex"husband, a daughter that is unhappy about leaving the home for renters and number one would be renting their home in order to afford it. I am interested to see how Adeline fits into the big picture. I would like to see how the story plays out.
