The Hermes Protocol grabbed my interest by its amazing looking cover. It seems hip, young and fresh. Cyber punk is new to me so I was not sure how I would at first react to The Hermes Protocol. It's a little bit of a mash up of the movie Jupiter Accending and a fantasy thriller. It was different for sure. The storyline was a little hard at first for me to get into but as I delved deeper into the chapters I slowly got my footing and was able to understand the polt. The main character is a total baddie! I love it. She strong and fearless with just a little bit of sassypants tossed into the mix. I do not want to give away the storyline to much but I will say that by the end of the book I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next. I think the author has something going for him with this cyper punk book.
