This is a new author for me which I enjoyed reading from beginning to end. This is a fantasy book that is full of action and hard to put down. I found this book to be well developed and engaging. I enjoyed how the author used details to bring realism to the story. I felt that I was right there with the characters. The characters are relateable and added so much to the story. They are creative and brought the story to life on each page. This is a fast paced story about a stolen chip and a race against time. Elise and Bastion team up to recover the stolen chip. They are great characters that are my favorite of the story. They made the story entertaining and easy to read. They have great growth throughout as well. What happens with them you don't want to miss. I really enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more from this author. I highly recommend this book.
