Weird.

This first look was really bizarre. I was both intrigued, but what was going on, but also not fully able to escape into the story. I think the world building and the AI perspective felt pretty forced. It wasn't a natural progression. I think a lot of science fiction takes a while to acclimate to, but this book just wasn't doing it for me. It didn't read like I would expect quality sci fi to.

The cover art is super tropey, and doesn't feel unique at all. I do wonder what will happen next, but not enough to read more.
