Yes, a legitimate phrase that was used, more than once, in the first chapter. The s*x noises. Makes me want to laugh, or cry, or both. Also, this spelling of Quinn - Quynn. Y's make things fancy and scif-fi sure but it just does not feel natural here...Yeah I know I'm kind of nitpicking, but it's the details like this that capture the tone for me here and it's a pretty strong indicator that the rest of the book isn't my thing.
