Cyberpunk isn't something I venture into very often, but the premise sounds interesting at least. The breaking-in and encountering an artificial intelligence thing reminds me a lot of Locklands, though that one was based more in magic and fantasy than sci-fi. I liked Locklands a lot though, so perhaps the same fervor might extend here?
