While I love SciFi, this excerpt just didn't appeal to me. For one, it seems like the main character is maybe asexual and sex repulsed, so I related to her, but I felt incredibly uncomfortable with the references to sex. The technology seemed interesting, and I like the idea of a cyborg main character. I found parts of the excerpt a little slow, and maybe too descriptive. That being said, I think people who read a lot of adult SciFi might enjoy this book!
