I am not a sci-fi girl. I have dabbled in the genre, but it has never appealed to me as other genres have like fantasy or romance. However, if I were going to give the genre another chance, The Hermes Protocol is the novel I would choose to do so. From the little bit I have read, it is easy to read while still showcasing its strength in science fiction knowledge, which is perfect for a reader like myself.
