To be frank, I don't read a great deal of cyber-fantasy so this may have just not been the book for me. But I struggled to get engaged. The first look gave me Sly Cooper on PS2 vibes. The main character is obviously smart, humorous, and confident, but there didn't seem to be much depth to them beyond that. I wouldn't mind reading more and seeing if the story deepens, but wasn't the best opening for me.
