The cover is great--you know immediately what the feel of the story is going to be. Which is Sci-Fi, not a genre I have much interest in. Unfortunately, for a reader like that, this sample didn't do anything to make me want to read more. The summary didn't give me enough to engage my attention and the excerpt also fell a little flat.
