First things first, the cover is giving me some serious Spy Kids flashbacks. Just the colors and the art....if you know you know.
This book does sound interesting, artificial intelligence really could go either way. I'm worried this book will be a little more science heavy, which will lose me and I'll struggle to stick with the story. BUT it could be a good adventure, and I am interested in knowing how the AI got where it did, and how everything will end.
