Stephen King meets pretty little liars. Love and blood but honestly not much of a plot. If you've read any paranormal books then you pretty much know what happens in this one. Disappointing considering Vega was so well known with writing horror that was like no other.
Bratty main characters with no progress and not really much ”wow” aspect or ”I didn't see that coming” there were so many problematic things like leaving your child brother to just roam around. With no supervision what so ever. Parents that were literally away. All the time. Like let's move for a fresh start but get right into the popular crowd. Just ugh. I was hoping for more because of all the other amazing books but was just left sad
