Not the same as Merciless - But good nonetheless

I read this earlier this year and forgot to leave a review of it. I've read the Merciless series (the first one specifically) a number of times and it captures me every single time. I'm a huge fan of Danielle Vega's writing and I'll remain a loyal fan indefinitely. However, saying all that, this one fell flatter than the rest of her books for me. I wasn't as impressed with this one as I was with her past books, but that's not to say this one isn't good. It is. I would probably suggest this to readers who haven't read her other books as their introduction, because if they like this then there's a good chance they'll really enjoy her other books, too. I will most definitely be picking up any other books she releases, including a sequel if she ends up writing one.
