This book just was not for me. It's definitely for younger readers who would want just a little creepiness but nothing super scary. The writing was fine and the portrayal of teenagers was pretty accurate but the story fell flat for me and the characters weren't all that engaging either. I would say this would be great for younger readers who maybe haven't read too many "spooky" books so they don't know what to expect. Maybe for kids who want a step up from Goosebumps books perhaps. For an adult reader it just doesn't cut it. Now let's talk about that ending. Hmmm..what to say? It wasn't good folks. I found myself very disappointed in that ending and I have to say it was pretty cheesy, especially the epilogue part. I did not care for it at all.
