I entered this Goodreads giveaway at the end of June because it sounded interesting and I hadn't heard or seen anything about it.
I wasn't disappointed! This pulls you in from the very start. The middle did lag just a bit for me but when I put it down I was still thinking about it and wanting to pick it right back up. I didn't see it playing out how it did and that always makes the story better in my opinion. The visuals from Vega's descriptions are great! I hadn't thought about picking up her Merciless series but it's on my list now.
While this isn't scary scary it is creepy and does make you feel like someone is watching you read it. That feeling really immerses you in the story even more.
