I am always leery of YA horror. It takes a very special author to be able to write this well, with enough creepiness to it while still maintaining the YA nature of a book. I'm not sure that this book has that. The opening is not overly impressive, and the rest of it might be promising but I'm not sure I'd actually buy it to see.
