When you think a book wouldn’t be creepy to only find out that you are completely wrong.
Something bad happened to Hendricks at her old school but we don’t exactly know what. I have a guess but I won’t say here in this short review. Her parents pack her and her little brother up and move to a little, dreary town into a house called “Steele House”.
Unbeknownst to her at first a little girl was murdered there and what seems to be an old house making noises becomes something much sinister than that.
From the very first sentence I was already invested it. Those first few pages creeped me out and I knew this book was for me. Dark. Sinister. Scary. Creepy. Everything I love in a horror book. I can’t wait to finish reading Hendricks story and find out more about Steele House.
