Even though I read a lot of YA, I've never read any of Danielle Vega's novels as I'm not a horror fan. I was able to meet her a couple of years ago at an event so I've been wanting to give her work a try and this first look was the perfect way. The writing pulled me in right away. The prologue had my heart pounding as I knew something scary was bound to happen. Honestly, I really enjoyed the writing style but had to stop reading as I don't do scary—people who do enjoy scary novels/books will love this!
