Even though the excerpt was pretty lengthy I'm still undecided if I would seek out the book on my own. I definitely like how the main character had a backstory as did the house and it was slowly being revealed but to be honest the whole paranormal aspect of the story has me a bit concerned. It's not a genre I normally read. I think this is a book that I would have to wait and see how others respond to it once it is published in order to determine if I should give it a chance.
