Even as the main character says she hates cliches, the beginning of this book is nothing but a cliche. I hate the stereotype of the girl who is too cool to care thrust into a new school where she has to prove that she is too cool to care. I just find it so dull, and I instantly felt a disconnect from the main character. The prologue was interesting, but that was about as far as I could get.
