This book (at least from the preview) promises to be an amazing page turner. I was gripped from the beginning. I must admit, I am especially fond of authors who have real characters. That is to say, they have flaws and their families are not perfect. I was immediately aligned with Kate and found myself rooting for her from the first word. The author has an excellent way of truly conveying the way Kate feels about everyone and everything she encounters which gives her a great amount of depth.
From the preview, I sense a great amount of darkness to come. Where is she from? What does she want? And how does she seem to know about all of them? It all just leaves me begging for answers I guess I will have to wait for in the whole book.
