I was initially drawn to this book because I thought the plot would have a lot to do with a half sister and her sinister strategy to enter into a family she had been excluded from. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the story of the half sister isn't the only plot! The book keeps you interested by offering chapters from the perspective of different characters. You quickly realize that this huge life event hits people much differently. For some people it is pure excitement and others it comes with anxiety and hesitation. It turns into a total page turner as you hurry through the chapters to the find the resolution to a particular story line. It really makes you wonder what else this family has been hiding all these years!
