Not my favorite!
Let me first say that I really enjoyed The Other Woman by Sandie Jones. However, I didn’t enjoy this book.
I am going to just list the things I liked and didn’t because I have been struggling with this review. I really wanted to enjoy this book.
I liked Kate, I really wanted to keep hearing her story, which was the focus during the first part of the book. The story had potential, it was interesting and engaging.
However, this was a book based in science and genetics and the author didn’t get it right. I was bothered by it A LOT. I didn’t connect with Lauren or the other characters. I found the writing to be bogged down with too many unnecessary details.
The twist was predictable and I saw it coming. This just wasn’t the book for me.
Overall, this was 2 stars for me.
