I will always love Sandie Jones and will continue picking up any books she writes, however this one wasn’t my favorite. I had a bit of a hard time getting into it. I couldn’t quite put my finger on why but it seemed that it just didn’t pull me in. Everything felt a bit mediocre. While the story was interesting, twisty, and suspenseful, I felt like the characters and plot got a little too in depth and complex to keep straight. It really had a lot of potential and I didn’t dislike it, it just isn’t one I would recommend to others. Unfortunately, it won’t be a book that sticks with me. However, just because I wasn’t a fan, doesn’t mean you won’t enjoy it! Also, I recommend you pick up The Other Woman or The First Mistake, both by Sandie and both excellent reads!
