It took me quite a while to get invested in the story, and I really wanted to give up at one point. However, about half-way in... BOOM! Dynamite!
This story of DNA, family drama, and many, many secrets will have you on the edge of your seat wondering WHO IS THE HALF SISTER!? Like, seriously!! There are so many possibilities in the story that would explain her sudden appearance. I know my mind came up with at least a dozen explanations. One was correct, but it was never “set in stone” until the end! I like that.
I wasn’t blown away at the “twist” ending, as I thought it pretty much was hinted at all throughout the novel, but it made sense. I thought it worked well and make the story come together.
