The Half Sister by Sandie Jones is about this girl that randomly shows up to a families Sunday lunch at their home claiming to be the daughter of their late father, the half sister to the two daughters.

The storyline jumps right into it all within that first chapter, although it did take me a little bit to get into it at first, about half way through it really picks up and you question and think you may know what’s happening. The story does seem to slowly takes its time working up to the main point but once it does you’re hit with a ton of information. This family seems to keep a lot of secrets from each other and it all comes out in the end. I was able to figure out what was happening but I really thought I should have been able to figure it out sooner than I did.

Overall I enjoyed this book and would give it 4 out of 5 stars.
