I was intrigued by the characters and it seems that Kate and Lauren are both trying to desperately hide secrets from each other and their mother. Kate and her husband Matt want children but so far have been unable to have any while Lauren has 3 and a husband who is of no help and feels a woman's place is in the home and not the workplace. Then at a typical, normal Sunday dinner, a knock comes on the door and a young woman arrives. She asks to see Harry their father who has been dead for almost a year. Then when asked why she wants to see them she sends all of them into shock by announcing that she is her daughter and that she wants to get to know her father. The cover is an eye catcher and the story as it has unfolded so far is intense. I would love to read this and see what the next chapter holds as it promises to be a page turner.
