The opening of a book is so important. It really sets the tone for the book and it could deter a lot of people from continuing on if the beginning is bad, even if the rest of the book is incredible. For me, I like that this started and you weren't really sure what was going on. It makes you want to keep reading so I can't wait for a chance to get my hands on this book.
