Well, the cover certainly makes the book appear as a page-turner thriller, and from the excerpt, I'm sure that's the case. I appreciate flipping back and forth between the two sisters, and perhaps we'll get a third perspective later on? Having the first chapter dealing with IVF made for a fairly slow start, but I think I can appreciate as it serves to show one of the divides between sisters Kate and Lauren, the latter having three kids while Kate is struggling for one. The arrival of the supposed half-sister seemed to be a bombshell that has a lot of ramifications for the family and the promise of secrets revealed.
