I want to know if she's truly the half sister!

Kate is at her mother's house, having a family dinner with her mom, sister, niece and nephews, and brother-in-law when the door rings. A young woman appears looking for Kate's deceased father. When asked to state her business, she reluctantly tells them that she is his daughter. Talk about dropping a bomb at the dinner table!

With everything else going on in this family (from page one), I can't begin to imagine how this is going to play out. Is she truly Kate's half sister? Is Kate going to be able to conceive with IVF? Is Lauren going to stay in what seems to be an emotionally and mentally abusive relationship?

This is a book that I need to read!
