Family dynamics always makes for a good read, but what stands out about this book so far is being able to see the POV of each main character dealing with their own separate issue and how peoples issues & insecurities flow into this family dynamic. This book makes you want to see how every problem outlined in these first few pages be addressed and also how the mysterious Emily will play a role in each persons life. I enjoyed learning about Kate & Lauren and I am ready to see how throw an extremely important stranger will mix things up in a situation with so many dynamics to start.
