Reading the first few chapters of Sandie Jones's The Half Sister, I'm reminded of the following Tolstoy quote: "Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way." The novel sets up an interesting premise centered around dysfunctional family relationships. Sounds intriguing!
