I've read both of Sandie Jones's other books and loved them, so I am very excited about her upcoming novel. She does a fantastic job of describing the pain of Kate's infertility in the opening scenes, and by opening with this, she is already showing the reader the discord between Kate and her sister Lauren. When Jess shows up with her news, the rift between Kate and Lauren deepens. Sandie Jones does a phenomenal job in building her characters, and I'm excited to read what's in store for this family.
