This book caught my attention on the first page. I don’t trust Jess, at all. Poor Kate and Lauren have enough to worry about without someone trying to scam their family. It seems like Harry and Rose are well off and a quick google search would have told Jess that he had died. Obituaries include the names of all the deceased persons’s family, I just don’t trust her. Simon seems like an absolutely snake. I hope he gets what he deserves. He is so abusive and controlling, a disgusting example of a so called “man”. I really enjoyed reading the first three chapters of this book and I can wait to see what happens next.
