Sandie Jones' "The Other Woman" was a twisty thriller that was on everyone's radar 2 years ago, and , "The Half Sister" is starting out just as well-plotted as her first novel. The beauty of this plot line is that it starts off completely normal. We have the stories of two sisters, Kate and Lauren, who are living very different lives. The story veers dramatically with the entrance of a new character named Jess, who is claiming to be their half sister. The story has the potential to get really crazy, and if it is anything like Jones' first novel, readers are in for many additional plot twists. The writing is fluid and detailed enough without bogging the reader down. We get a lot of character development in these first few chapters. The cover is eye-catching and a little spooky and this looks like a very interesting read.
