I have never in my life read a book that was a fantasy, historical fiction, dystopia type book with some action and I have to say that I didn't hate it. There was quite a bit about this book that I liked. As I first began reading the story, I was nervous about the events that were about to take place, but the book ended up being very different - and I really liked it. I felt that it was similar in some ways to "Vengeance Road" which I loved so that was definitely a plus.
I thought that the tattoo aspect was a really cool touch, wasn't great for the characters but it was nice for the readers (aka me). Speaking of the characters, I was definitely shipping a couple of them together. Let my ship sail!
I have to say that I am pretty pleased with the ending and overall enjoyed the reading experience.
