The Good Luck Girls intrigued me with its premise. I found that the book started off strong with the accidental murder occurring right at the beginning and resulting in the group of girls having to work quickly to determine what to do and how to escape. As I continued making my way through the book I found that it slowed down in the middle and I struggled to keep reading and not put it down. The momentum of the story become a constant up and down flow for me. By the time I reached the end I was glad I had read it as it was enjoyable; however, it wasn’t enjoyable enough for me to want to read the sequel when it comes out. I will however read other works from this author as I enjoy her worldbuilding.
