Growing up Eliza didn't know her father was but she had her mom and her mom's two best friends. Her Godmothers would take her on trips every year and were always there for her. 13-years after the death of her mother she hope they answer the questions she can't ask her mother.

I really enjoyed this book. There was a little bit of mystery but nothing too suspenseful. This was an enjoyable read with some fun characters. Eliza was at a point of change in her life and I liked being able to join her on her journey. Olivia and Maxine were good friends to Eliza and her mother. I feel like we learn more about Oliva since we get to see the story on her home turf but I wished Maxine was a bit more fleshed out. The different men and boys in the story each added something different and brought out different parts of Eliza.

I did feel like Olivia and Maxine should have been more honest and real with Eliza as she was an adult but that is just my opinion. I can't wait to read more by this author.
