The book started strong but by the middle I found it boring and the ending wasn't any better.
There where several subplots that I found uninterested that I felt really slowed the story down and didn't go anywhere interesting. The book was too long for what it is and could have been heavily pruned down so the flow was better. The main plot felt crammed in at the end and rushed. Some of it felt unresolved as well and left me feeling unsatisfied with the ending. It seemed like a few things where supposed to be surprising but the repetition of the book just left me frustrated when the author finally did reveal them. A few events in the book felt outlandish and not in a fun way. All of the characters where flat and I can't say I liked any of them.
The fact the book takes place in so many places was fun and I did enjoy reading about the traveling bits. The main plot was interesting to me, I just wish there had been more of it.
