Eliza Miller's life was on track with support from her sweet godmothers until tragedy struck their lives before Eliza is about to go to college. Thirteen years later, she is finally ready to face the facts and goes on a search to find out all the questions she's had for most of her life.

I was really drawn in by the mystery of Eliza Miller's father, and the unspeakable tragedy that happens to her as a teenager. It was amazing to see Eliza come alive again after playing it safe for so long. I wish I had godmothers like her. I really like Sullivan as a character, and I feel like she really connected to him, because he was also really close to his mom. I thought it was going to be like Mamma Mia where there were a couple candidates for the father. I think the pacing was a teeny tiny bit off, but that's okay because the story was well written.

I think this is a great book if you like family drama, and family secrets.
