This book was such a fun book to read. Eliza and her mother moved around alot and her mom drank a lot. It was surprising that she grew up so well. She had 2 godmothers that were a part of her life and helped her with college. After she lost her job of nine years and was losing her apartment, one of her godmothers asked her to come to the UK for the other godmother's wedding. While there she finds out more about her mother and who her father was.
In the book there was always something happening and it was hard to put down. It was fun to read more about her mother and more about her godmothers and their families. She eventually finds out who her father was and was surprised it wasn't who she thought it was.
On her quest to find her father, Lawrence who works at the hotel her aunt owns, is her chauffer. They get to know each other over the 3 days and end up falling in love.
Great book and I look forward to reading more books by this author and will definitely recommend her books to other readers I talk to.
